    One of the primary ways churches grow and God's Kingdom expands is through leaders who are called and equipped to fulfill the work of ministry.


    At the PBA one of our primary goals is to ENCOURAGE and EQUIP leaders within our local churches.


    We seek to accomplish this in a variety of ways: 


    1. Monthly fellowship lunches


    2. Monthly Roundtable discussions called ShopTalk: Things I Didn't Learn in Seminary.


    3. Being a listening ear and Pastor to Pastors.

    Student ministry is one of the most vital ministries of a church. At the PBA we seek to EQUIP and ENCOURAGE our student ministry leaders through:

    A local emergency food, rental, and utility assistance ministry serving Pickens and Northern Anderson County.


    Samaritan Health Clinic:

    A local free clinic for noninsured and under-insured residents of Pickens County.

    The disaster relief agency of the churches of the South Carolina Baptist Convention.


    Connie Maxwell Children's Home:

    A children's ministry providing hope for childrens and families in need with campuses across SC.
